How it works: Handicaps follow the USGA World Handicap System formula using Windsor Park's official Course Rating (65.2) and Slope Rating (107). Lower is better.
Handicap Index = Average of best N differentials from your most recent 20 rounds per USGA lookup table:
3 scores → best 1 (−2.0 adj) · 4 → best 1 (−1.0) · 5 → best 1 · 6 → best 2 (−1.0) · 7–8 → best 2 · 9–11 → best 3 · 12–14 → best 4 · 15–16 → best 5 · 17–18 → best 6 · 19 → best 7 · 20+ → best 8
Full 18-hole scores from Supabase use the standard formula directly.
Legacy front-9 scores (2020–2025) follow the WHS 2024 9-hole treatment: the actual 9-hole differential is combined with an expected 9-hole differential based on the player's Handicap Index (Expected 9H Diff = HI ÷ 2 + 1.5). A two-pass calculation is used — first a preliminary HI is computed, then 9-hole differentials are recalculated using that HI.
Front 9 ratings: CR 30.7 · Slope 107 (estimated from 18-hole ratings proportional to par) Course Handicap = Index × (Slope ÷ 113) + (Course Rating − Par)
= Index × 0.947 − 2.8 (for Windsor Park white tees)
